'As above, so below'. Together, 'dark matter and dark energy' (scientific term) make up around 95% of the universe's mass-energy content, and scientists currently cannot directly detect or measure them even with the modern technology.
That represents 95% of our reality, and currently, it means that we humans can observe only 5% of our reality with current technology. If we exclude the technology, I guess we are left with less than 1%.

Scientists once believed that 98% of human DNA was junk DNA; today, their understanding has evolved, but they still can't fully explain its functions. Similar to dark matter and dark energy, a substantial portion of our DNA remains elusive.
If you read my post about the ancient symbol represented in Buddhism and Hinduism, the Dharmachakra wheel represents the essence of the Universe. The symbol of the wheel represents the DNA as seen from above.
In Hinduism, dharma denotes behaviors that are considered to be in accord with Ṛta—the "order and custom" that makes life and universe possible. The meaning of the word is 'to hold, maintain, keep', and means 'what is established or firm' and hence 'law'.
The intertwined serpent bodies, as depicted in the picture of Fuxi and Nuwa, the creators of humanity, and this depiction of the Dharmachakra, show the evolution of humans. It’s the evolution of the DNA and the soul. Above and below Fuxi and Nuwa are the wheels representing the Sun (masculine energy) and the moon (feminine energy). By combining the energies in perfect equilibrium, you will fully activate your DNA, speed up the process of evolution, and achieve enlightenment.
By achieving this, you will be able to see the higher realms known as the Sefirot in the Kabbalah, the Mental and Spiritual planes in the Hermetic teachings, the Aeons in the Gnostic texts, or as modern science is calling it, dark matter and dark energy.
Our DNA is the essence of the first cell (zygote) that is created, containing all the information necessary for the cell to start dividing and creating our reality. DNA vibrates at certain frequencies, and scientists are already using light vibrations to edit the DNA (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9747203/ ). By changing the vibrations of the DNA you can start the process of enlightenment.

Evolution is driven by events and it's Disaster-forced! It opens the gate for new species too. This is well explained in the ancient wisdom.
According to Hopi tradition, we are in the fourth world, awaiting the return of the Blue Star Kachina and the great reset. According to Hermetic teachings, there were many species before us that walked the path through the Physical, Mental, and Spiritual planes. And, of course, according to Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrianism, and Norse Mythology, we await the end of the Kali Yuga, the Apocalypse, Qiyamah, Frashokereti, and Ragnarok.
Randall Carlson speculated that even our environment is rapidly shaped by a massive extinction-level event and floods. Indeed, from above, our world looks like sand on the beach shaped by the ripples of the water.
Now back to my favorite quotes: the short Hermetic quote ‘As above, so below’, the quote of the Sufi mystic Rumi, 'Everything in the universe is within you', and the quote from the Gospel of Thomas: ‘Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'See, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty.’
Outer space, or the materialistic realm, is an emanation of the formless state, as explained in the Kabbalah teachings of the sefirot and the divine forces emanating on different levels, channels, and frequencies. We live in the lowest emanation, which is not a direct emanation of the divine forces like the other 9 sefirot.
It's similar to the brain in a vat philosophy, except there is no vat. When you dream, you create an entire universe that can function just like reality, and you have your materialistic body. You shape your dream with the inner light; upon awakening, you realize it's merely an illusion.
This is from the Gnostic 'Gospel of Thomas': 'His disciples said to him, "Show us the place where you are, since it is necessary for us to seek it."
He said to them: "Whoever has ears, let him hear. There is light within a man of light, and he lights up the whole world. If he does not shine, he is darkness.'
Now can you guess where is the light?
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom."
Everything is inside you; the spirit and the light are in your DNA. By changing the vibrations, you will slowly start to see the broader reality, which is much more real than the current physical illusion. In Hinduism, this is called Kundalini, or the raising of the Serpent through the seven chakras. The seven chakras are the seven seals and the seven churches in Christianity, and you need to remove the veil from the seven Archons (note this is not accepted by mainstream Christianity).
What we see and what we can't perceive in the Universe is already inside us: within the DNA, the soul, and the inner light. That's why approximately 95% of the Universe is Dark Matter and Dark Energy, and nearly the same percentage in our DNA is dark DNA, formerly known as Junk DNA. There lie the higher dimensions within us but also around us.
